Livery
We do sometimes have space for full or part livery. Full means we look after the horse or pony 7 days a week; part means we look after the horse or pony weekdays and the owner is responsible at weekends.
The majority of liveries here are at grass in the summer and in sheltered yards or stabled in winter. Turnout is limited if the weather or ground conditions are poor ie wet as we have clay soil. Stabled horses get daily turnout on all weather surfaces.

Full Livery from £65 - £140 pw depending on season and size of horse or pony. SORRY no vacancies just now for full livery.
Part Livery from £50 - £125 pw depending on season and size of horse or pony. Discounts are available to owners prepared to lend a hand with general yard duties including mucking out. SORRY no vacancies just now for part livery.
POSSIBLE WINTER VACANCIES - we are planning to offer space to 4 full or part liveries from the autumn. These will be for stabled horses or cobs. The boxes are good brick built, light and airy with rubber matting but they are not huge. Up to 16hh would be OK. Shredded paper is used for topping up bedding on the mats. There is no winter turnout but horses can be lunged or have supervised turnout in the outdoor all weather arena.
Fees include good quality meadow hay and paper bedding on rubber mats. Yard areas are normally rubber mats in sheds and sandpits for rolling and sun bathing.
Paddocks are post and rail fenced with electric tape. Horses are usually turned out in small groups but some individual paddocks are available. Laminitics especially catered for including sandpit areas. Grass turnout is restricted to Spring, Summer and Autumn.
Additional feed or supplements are charged at cost or should be provided by the client. Liveries have full use of one of the outdoor arenas. Access to the indoor arena is restricted to times when the riding school is not using the arena, generally this means Monday and Friday and most evenings after 6pm. Other times are by arrangement. The arenas have sand/pvc/rubber chips surface. Off road hacking round our own land with direct access to the Merry Hill Greenway.
